Brian Benvenisty, CFA

Mr. Benvenisty is a managing director within Oaktree’s Global Private Debt strategy.  He joined Oaktree in 2025 from GoldenTree Asset Management.  At GoldenTree, he was a managing director on the Restructurings & Turnarounds team responsible for process-oriented investments spanning distressed credit, special situations, and post-reorganization equity.  Prior thereto, he was a vice president at PJT Partners in the Restructuring and Special Situations group.  He began his career as an investment analyst with Performance Equity Management and CDK Group.  Mr. Benvenisty received an M.B.A. degree from Columbia Business School, a J.D. from Columbia Law School, and a B.A. degree in economics and psychology magna cum laude from Columbia College.  He is a member of the State Bar of New York and CFA charterholder.
