Gabriel Schuch, CFA

Mr. Schuch is a vice president for Oaktree’s Structured Credit strategy focused on investments for the Asset-Backed Finance platform.  Prior to joining Oaktree in 2025, Mr. Schuch was a vice president at Raven Capital where he was engaged in sourcing, underwriting, execution, and portfolio management of non-sponsor, asset-based loans.  Previously, Mr. Schuch was a senior associate at Crestline Investors where he was responsible for asset-backed finance and real estate investments within the credit and opportunistic strategies.  Before Crestline, Mr. Schuch was a vice president of capital markets and corporate development at CFG Partners, a private equity-backed leading provider of consumer loans in Panama and the Caribbean, where he worked on the company’s balance sheet transformation, which was fundamental to a successful exit.  Mr. Schuch began his career as an associate for two middle-market investment banking firms in Brazil.  He holds a B.S. in industrial engineering and an M.S. in finance and accounting from UFRGS, Brazil.  Mr. Schuch is a CFA charterholder and is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
