Josef Mattar

Mr. Mattar is a vice president in Oaktree’s European Principal Group.  Prior to joining Oaktree in 2019, Mr. Mattar worked at Nomura’s Healthcare Investment Banking Division, where he executed several M&A transactions.  Mr. Mattar has seven years private equity investing and investment banking experience.  He currently serves as a board observer of Tactical Air Support, Meta Aerospace and Zzoomm Full Fibre Broadband.  Mr. Mattar received a master’s degree from the University of Cambridge as well as a B.Sc. degree in finance and economics from Singapore Nanyang and Manchester Business School.  He is an Austrian national and a native German speaker.
