Joshua Bissu

Mr. Bissu is a managing director in Oaktree’s Opportunities group in New York.  Prior to joining the firm in 2025, he was a managing director at King Street Capital, where he was responsible for trading opportunistic credit and distressed investments.  There, he was a member of U.S. Investment Committee and Global Drawdown Funds Steering Committee.  He also built and headed the Data Science group.  Prior thereto, Mr. Bissu worked at GSC Group.  He earned his M.A. in mathematics from Columbia University and B.A. in economics magna cum laude from Duke University.
