Jűrgen Schaubel

Mr. Schaubel began working with Oaktree’s European Principal group in 2012. His experience includes currently serving, or having previously served, as a board member and/or interim executive at several of the group’s portfolio companies including: MFD Rail, OSM Maritime Group, LifeFit Group, Next Clinics, Folding Boxboard Group, Hesira Group, Veridis Environment, Vitanas, Bavaria Yachtbau and Panrico. Prior experience includes CFO roles in private equity-owned companies at Kahrs Nybron Group (Vestar Capital/Bluebay), Treofan (Bain Capital/Goldman Sachs) and Scout24 Holding (Beisheim Holding). Mr. Schaubel also served as CFO at AESCULAP AG, Head of Controlling-Subsidiaries, M&A at Carl Zeiss Group and started his career as a Trainee at Robert Bosch. He holds a Diploma in business administration from the University of Stuttgart. Mr. Schaubel is a native German speaker.
