
Kieran Thind
Senior Vice President
Mr. Thind is a senior vice president within Oaktree’s European Private Debt strategy. He joined the firm in 2026 from ICG, a specialist asset manager, where he was responsible for the origination, execution, and management of European and U.S. mid- to large-cap senior debt transactions. He is a sector generalist with a broad set of sponsor and advisory relationships, covering primarily the U.K., Benelux, and Nordics, with extensive experience across healthcare, business services, telco, retail, and consumer sectors, as well as experience in distressed, restructuring, and change of control situations. Prior thereto, Mr. Thind served as an investment manager in private markets at Railpen Investments, the in-house asset manager for the U.K. Railways Pension Scheme. He also worked as an associate in the Manufacturing & Services department at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, where he focused on all aspects of debt and equity transactions. Mr. Thind’s earlier experience includes roles at Nomura International as an analyst in the Global Markets Fixed Income group and UBS as an analyst for wealth management. He holds an M.Sc. degree in management from London Business School and an M.A. degree in classics from the University of Cambridge. Mr. Thind is fluent in High and Swiss German.
