Lewis Gibofsky

Mr. Gibofsky is a managing director in Oaktree’s Opportunities group in New York.  He joined the firm in 2025 and has over twenty years of investment experience in alternative asset management focusing on various products.  Prior to joining Oaktree, Mr. Gibofsky was a senior analyst at Aitia Capital, a Millenium Platform Company.  Prior thereto, he was a credit analyst at Citadel.  Mr. Gibofsky has also held roles in credit research at Anchorage Capital Group, Acuity Capital Management, and MAST Capital Management.  He received a B.S. degree in learning & organizational change from Northwestern University.
