Nishad Vadukul

Mr. Vadukul is a senior vice president in Oaktree’s Opportunities group in London.  In this role, he is responsible for trading strategy and origination across the Asia region.  Prior to joining the firm in 2024, he was an executive director at Goldman Sachs in the Global Banking & Markets division, where he worked for eighteen years.  He held various roles in New York, London and Hong Kong across trading, origination, and distribution.  Mr. Vadukul previously ran HY flow trading for Asia ex-Japan, and prior to leaving oversaw illiquid credit distribution.  He received a B.A. (hons) in European economics and politics from the University of Leeds and an M.B.A. from Columbia University.
