Roger Zhang, CFA

Mr. Zhang is a managing director and Co-Head of Asia for Oaktree’s Global Private Debt strategy.  He joined the firm in 2025 from Granite Asia, where he served as partner, responsible for developing and overseeing the private debt business.  Prior thereto, he was a managing director at Blackstone Credit where he was responsible for the origination and due diligence for Asia private debt opportunities.  Prior to Blackstone, Mr. Zhang served as Head of Private Debt Asia for Partners Group, where he helped to build the APAC private debt business.  His earlier career included roles at Goldman Sachs, Ashland Partners, and Ernst & Young.  Mr. Zhang holds an M.B.A. for New York University’s Stern School of Business and is a CFA charterholder.
