Sophie Varney

Ms. Varney is a vice president focused on the European High Yield Bonds strategy.  Prior to joining Oaktree in 2022 from PwC, she worked as a senior associate on the Asset & Wealth Management Assurance team.  Prior thereto, Ms. Varney was an analyst at Citi on their Global Industrials Corporate & Investment Banking team.  She received an MPhys in physics from the University of St. Andrews and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
