Vijay Padmanabhan

Mr. Padmanabhan is a managing director and Head of Hyderabad Office.  He joined Oaktree in 2025 with over 25 years of experience, leading global capability centers, finance transformation, technology consulting, treasury, and banking operations.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Padmanabhan co-managed the Global Capability Centre (GCC) of Invesco in Hyderabad, overseeing 28 functions in addition to being the Chief Operating Officer of Global Finance operations.  Mr. Padmanabhan’s career also includes significant positions at Deloitte Consulting, Hewlett Packard, Oracle, Sonata Software, GE healthcare and IDBI Bank Limited.  He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds an Master’s degree in commerce from Madras University.
