William Deuser

Mr. Deuser is a vice president for Oaktree’s Structured Credit strategy, primarily the Asset-Backed Finance platform, where he focuses on data architecture, analytics, and portfolio monitoring.  He joined Oaktree in 2025 from Boston Portfolio Advisors, where he led asset management and data analytics efforts for over a decade.  While at Boston Portfolio Advisors, Mr. Deuser developed scalable processes to manage billions in advances and distributions, significantly improving operational efficiency and reporting.  He also led the migration to automated systems, enhancing portfolio oversight for a range of blue-chip clients.  Earlier in his career, Mr. Deuser gained experience at Mainstay Investments and CH Boston, where he managed client relationships, developed investment strategies, and built financial models.  He holds an M.B.A. in entrepreneurship from Nova Southeastern University and a B.S. in finance from Florida State University.
