Allan Wardrop

Mr. Wardrop is a managing director in Oaktree’s Opportunities group in Hong Kong.  Before joining the firm in 2020, he was a Partner at Sidley Austin LLP, Hong Kong.  Prior thereto, Mr. Wardrop was a Partner at Hogan Lovells LLP. Mr. Wardrop began his career as a trainee solicitor with McGrigor Donald.  Mr. Wardrop received an L.L.B. (1^st Class Hons) from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, and an L.L.M. from Central European University, Budapest.  He is admitted as a Solicitor in both Scotland and Hong Kong.
