Lin Tien, CFA

Mr. Tien is a managing director in the U.S. Seniors Loan group, where he focuses on investments in the technology and chemical sectors. Prior to joining Oaktree in 2013, Mr. Tien spent four years at Hotchkis & Wiley Capital Management, most recently as a credit analyst in High Yield Research. Before that, Mr. Tien worked at J.P. Morgan in London within the Equity Research group. He received his Master of Finance and Economics degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He received his Master of Public Policy degree from the Goldman School of Public Policy and a B.A. degree cum laude in economics from the University of California, Berkeley, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Tien is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and is a CFA charterholder.
