Mr. Ackerman joined Oaktree in 2000 from Keim Wilson Associates, a New York-based hedge fund, where he served as head trader. Prior to that, he was an institutional High Yield/Distressed salesperson at Schroder & Co. Mr. Ackerman received a B.S. degree in finance from the University of Richmond.
