David Mason, CFA

Mr. Mason is a senior vice president and primary product specialist for Oaktree’s Value Opportunities strategy. Prior to joining Oaktree in 2025, he was an investor relations and business development professional at HG Vora Capital Management, where he managed investor relationships and supported fundraising efforts across the firm’s product offerings.  Prior thereto, Mr. Mason was a product specialist at HPS Investment Partners, where he focused on the firm’s Mezzanine Debt strategy.  Mr. Mason received a B.S. in finance cum laude from Syracuse University.  He is a CFA charterholder.
