David Nicoll

Mr. Nicoll is a managing director in Oaktree’s Opportunities group in Los Angeles.  He joined the firm in 2020 from Aequim Alternative Investments, where he was the managing director responsible for fundamental credit investments.  Prior thereto, Mr. Nicoll was a managing director at Watershed Asset Management.  He began his career as an analyst in Morgan Stanley’s investment banking division and subsequently joined The Baupost Group.  Mr. Nicoll received an A.B. in economics magna cum laude from Harvard College and studied at the London School of Economics.
