May Hnin

Ms. Hnin is a vice president on the U.S. Senior Loans team, where she focuses on investments in industrials, leisure, gaming and aerospace & defense sectors.  She joined Oaktree in 2024 from Sixth Street, where she was a generalist investor in distressed credit.  Prior thereto, she held roles in credit research at J.P. Morgan and corporate finance at Rent the Runway.  Ms. Hnin received her B.A. in financial economics, with a special concentration in business management from Columbia University and her M.B.A. from the value investing program at Columbia Business School.
