Mohammed Lawal

Mr. Lawal is a vice president in Oaktree’s Real Estate group in New York.  He is involved in the sourcing, execution, analysis and asset management of investments for the firm’s real estate strategies.  Prior to joining Oaktree in 2024, he was an associate in the Real Estate group at Bain Capital, where he focused on platform formations, acquisitions and asset management.  Previously, Mr. Lawal was an analyst at Harrison Street, where he focused on acquisitions.  Mr. Lawal graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, where he received a B.S. in economics with a concentration in finance from the Wharton School.
