Patrick George, CFA

Mr. George is a senior vice president in Oaktree’s Opportunities group in Los Angeles.  Prior to joining the firm in 2020, Mr. George was an associate with Glendon Capital Management.  Mr. George began his career as a business analyst with McKinsey & Company where he worked primarily in the private equity and restructuring practices.  He graduated cum laude from Yale College with a B.A. in ethics, politics, and economics, awarded with distinction, and studied at the London School of Economics.  Mr. George has served on a number of public and private boards, including currently the boards of Ambac Assurance, Acorn Investment Partners, and TI Automotive (formerly TSX: ABCT and LON: TIFS) and previously the board of Velocity Risk.  He is a CFA® charterholder and serves as Chair of CFA LA’s Advocacy & Ethics Commission.
