Sam Moody

Mr. Moody is a vice president in Oaktree’s GFI Energy Group, which executes the Power Opportunities investment strategy.  He is primarily focused on partnering with growing businesses that provide products and services to critical infrastructure end-markets.  He previously served as a board observer for Enercon Services, Richards Manufacturing, and Saber Power Services.  Prior to joining Oaktree in 2022, Mr. Moody was an analyst in the Industrials group at Evercore, where he worked on various buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions.  Prior thereto, Mr. Moody was an analyst at Credit Suisse in the Power and Renewables group, where he worked on various M&A and capital markets transactions, including buy-side M&A, sell-side M&A, IPOs and leveraged finance.  He received a B.S. cum laude in finance from Brigham Young University.
