Torben Dunkel, CAIA

Mr. Dunkel is a managing director on the Marketing and Client Relations team based in Frankfurt.  He joined Oaktree in 2025 from Aviva Investors where he most recently served as the Head of Europe, leading the sales team responsible for Nordics, Germany, Austria, Benelux and Southern Europe.  Prior thereto, Mr. Dunkel served as an executive director for institutional sales at Robeco where he developed and diversified the German institutional business.  He has also held roles at Selinus Capital GmbH and J.P. Morgan Asset Management in Europe.  Mr. Dunkel received his E.M.B.A. and LL.M. in mergers & acquisitions from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.  He is a CAIA charterholder and native German speaker.
