Mr. Meme is a member of the Portfolio Transformation Team. In addition to conducting investment due diligence, he specializes in driving commercial and operational performance improvement initiatives — including turnarounds — collaboratively with management teams. Mr. Meme joined Oaktree in 2020 from Boston Consulting Group, where he was most recently a Partner and member of the firm’s Consumer, Heath Care, and People & Organization practice areas. There, Mr. Meme worked with clients implementing major strategy, operations, and large-scale change efforts primarily in the consumer, retail, auto/industrial and health care spaces. He has advised leading companies on growth strategy, post-merger integration, salesforce effectiveness, and operating model redesign, in addition to steering several major organizational transformation efforts. Earlier in his career, Mr. Meme worked as an economic researcher at the Center for Retirement Research at Boston College. He has also spent time as an equity analyst at T. Rowe Price, and interned in the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Economic Policy. Mr. Meme holds an M.B.A. in finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania; an M.T.S. in systemic theology from the University of Notre Dame; and a B.A. in economics from Boston College, magna cum laude, where he was a Presidential Scholar and elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
