Mr. Nie joined Oaktree in 2019 from Blue Water Energy LLP, where he was an investment associate. Mr. Nie serves on the board of Col Giovanni Paolo S.P.A. and is a board observer of MWH Treatment and Cebat. Prior thereto, he was an M&A analyst at Lazard in the industrials team. Mr. Nie received an M.Sc. in financial economics from the University of Oxford and a B.Sc. in management (finance and accounting) from the University of Manchester, where he was on the Dean’s List. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
