William Sharp

Mr. Sharp is a senior vice president and joined Oaktree’s Opportunities group in New York in 2020.  Mr. Sharp first joined the firm’s Infrastructure Investing team in 2017, having previously worked as an investment banking associate for Bank of America Merrill Lynch.  While at BofAML, he focused on mergers and acquisitions and financings in the power, utilities, and renewables sectors.  Previously, Mr. Sharp served as an investment analyst in Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Equity Capital Markets group.  He currently serves as a board director for Azorra Aviation and Vmo Aircraft Leasing.  Mr. Sharp graduated cum laude from Bucknell University with a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering.
