Soonwoong Kook

Mr. Kook is a managing director in Marketing and Client Relations. He is also the legal representative and executive director for Oaktree Overseas Investment Fund Management (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. Before joining Oaktree in 2018, Mr. Kook was a managing director and the head of institutional business – Korea for Amundi in Hong Kong. Prior thereto, he was a client relationship manager with AllianceBernstein in Hong Kong. Mr. Kook began his career as an associate manager with the Shinhan Investment Corporation in Korea. He received an M.B.A. from CEIBS, the China Europe International Business School and a B.B.A. in finance from the University of Houston.
