Colin Smith

Mr. Smith leads Oaktree’s Portfolio Transformation Team (PTT), a team of operating executives specializing in due diligence and large-scale value creation programs, including turnarounds. He joined Oaktree in 2014 from AlixPartners where he served as a director leading value creation projects across a variety of industries for its global clients. Prior to his eight years at AlixPartners, Mr. Smith worked as a consultant for Deloitte in their Strategy and Operations practice, and for A.T. Kearney Ltd. as a senior business analyst. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of Proserv. Mr. Smith earned his B.A. with honors in applied economics from Queen’s University, and an M.B.A. in operations and strategic management at the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business. He is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor.
